The beginning of the school year in the adolescent program has been a phenomenal experience. So far, we've experienced going on the farm, considered purchasing a farm animal, baking with the primary, starting a fundraiser, and we've begun learning the adolescent curriculum. While this may sound overwhelming, we have organized and spaced out these projects in the past couple of weeks, and have made significant progress. The projects are run by the students, and the adults are always there to guide, if needed. The students' role in these projects is to organize, plan and execute these various projects. Instead of going to MMUN in New York City, we are going to Chicago. To do this, we've started fundraisers like yard sales, a stand at the Merchantville Farmers Market, and a Star Party. We are looking forward to more great experiences as the school year goes on.
